our time. He is globally admired and celebrated for his unique attitude and approach in the fashion world, while being paradoxically reduced to it at the same time.

5 CUTS | A VISUAL DIALOGUE is an exhibition consisting of video installations centered around the spirit of Yamamoto. Instead of focussing on Yohji Yamamoto’s extraordinary skill in dressmaking, this showcase liberates him from the ever-present fashion spotlight.
