Symphonie Cinétique – The Poetry of Motion
Berlin
Focussing on interdisciplinarity, MADE once again invited two artists to step out of their routines. For their latest project, Symphonie Cinétique – The Poetry of Motion, they brought German media artist, Joachim Sauter, and Icelandic composer, Ólafur Arnalds, together to experience their mutual disciplines.
Sauter and Arnalds dived into the correlation and interaction of reflection, sound and movement and explored what happens when light, sound and motion are all fused together in a space. The result is both a creative clash as well as a proof showing that tadiROCK and Nico Zeh, the founders of MADE, managed to create a unique experience.
In 2010, when tadiROCK and Nico Zeh teamed up with ABSOLUT Vodka to found MADE, it was their greatest concern to focus on the untransferable moments – those that you need to come across yourself as no medium is able to capture them.
