Isaac Cordal

Last week Isaac Cordal was in Örebro / Sweden to participate in OpenART – an international outdoor exhibition of contemporary art.

In this context, Cordal worked on ‚Follow the leaders‘, which is a series of installations belonging to his project ‚Cement eclipses‘. It is about small cement sculptures that represent our leaders in different situations. For OpenART, Isaac Cordal made life-size sculptures.

They represent business men descending into a system with no solid foundation. The installations reflect capitalism and its current drift. As Isaac Cordal says: „It is sad to think that consumption rates reflect the health of our society.“
