Oliver Jeffers

Oliver Jeffers, who is best known as a creator of picture books for children. While his most recent book, “The Hueys in the New Sweater,” was just named by the New York Times as one of the Best Illustrated Children’s Books of 2012, his current exhibition Here Or There, investigates the artist’s inspiration: the gap that exists between logical thinking and emotional understanding. The featured paintings tell stories and pose provocative philosophical questions through the masterful use of space in composition.
