Munich

Alex Grein and Anna Vogel are currently presenting a joint exhibition at the Munich based Sperling gallery. The two universes of the artists – both master students of the photography artist and teacher Andreas Gursky – got together through this show and offer a world in-between nature and technology.

Alex Grein ∩ Anna Vogel, is, as emphasized by the mathematical symbol, an exhibition presenting the intersection of the artists’ works and worlds. Grein is exploring the embodiment of technology and technological art. With pieces such as ´Laughing out Loud´ or ´Sky´ the German artist questions both the meaning and meaninglessness of technology. Anna Vogel deals with pure outlines and natural shapes as a reminiscence of spontaneous happenings that she experienced. her ‘o.T.’ series is a settlement of this. Together, Grein and Vogel depict a singular body of art of a wide array, inspirations and reflections.
