La Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain currently presents American artist Bruce Nauman. For more than 40 years, Nauman has been upsetting and revolutionizing the artistic scene with his installations, creative experiments and dabbler skills. With his 360° approach, Bruce Nauman fits in no category, but has yet become one of the most influential artist of his generation.

Through his always-transfiguring art pieces, Nauman explores various disciplines. He combines multiple screens with polyphonic videos and intimate performances in which he involves his own body. The artist examines body movements and states that his art is not about creating effects but presenting certain situations.

Especially produced for the purpose of the Fondation Cartier, this exhibition is covering the entire career of the American artist. The significant artworks are on show revealing the links in between some of the most abstract pieces that juggle with environmental and spiritual references.
