Raks
‚Maybe Untilted‘

Apr 6, 2016

SaarbrückenGerman artist Daniel Hahn, alias Raks is currently presenting his second solo show with Galerie Neuheisel. Coming from the urban art scene, Raks translates on canvas what he usually performs on walls.

After Habitus, Raks’s first solo show with Galerie Neuheisel, that explored the art of letters and calligraphy, the artist now exposes his research in structure and architecture with Maybe untitled. On canvas and paper, he first creates the background which is the fruit of a non-planned, emotion-based process led by his moods and emotions. He then exposes his clean 4-letter sculpture onto the canvases. The results are deconstructed architectonics realms flirting with his graffiti signature of letters and bright colors.
